On World Photography Day, 19th August 2009, a few photography enthusiasts, came together to form Goa’s first photography club called the “Goan Shutterbugs”

IDENTITY OF GOAN SHUTTERBUGS: 
Immaterial if you are a year old or 111, whether you have a high tech DSLR or a simple point & shoot or even a mobile phone, if Photography be your hobby / profession – You are welcome.

OBJECTIVES OF THE GOAN SHUTTERBUGS: 
Promotion of photography through organizing of photo walks, workshops, competitions and exhibition; And primarily assisting in documenting the rich culture, heritage, ethos and philosophy that is Goa, besides honing on personal skills.

THE REACH OF THE GOAN SHUTTERBUGS: 
In the virtual world, we are all over the internet. On terra firma, our main base being BM Office, opp. Torsanzor, Aquem, Margao, and in Panjim at Supply’s India, Rosary Apts., Miramar.
